Just FYI, that rock steady drummer is Jimmy Karstein. Jimmy has been playing with John since the early 60's. The other members of the band are Christine Lakeland on guitar, Bill Raffensperger on bass (Bill died a couple of weeks ago. He was a very fine person and a master of the bass), and myself, Rocky Frisco, on electric piano. We had a number of friends sitting in: Walt Richmond, formerly with Bonnie Raitt, on the other piano, Jimmy Markham on harp, Don White on guitar, and a number of other music stars and celebrities. The gig was at Cain's Ballroom, where Bob Wills and the Texas Playboys used to play. Cain's opened around 1926. Cain's is a big venue, around 800 people. The Jools Holland show was broadcast on Guy Fawkes Day in 1994. There's another version of "Breeze" available, with Eric sitting in. I started playing with John in 1957. I'm a year older than he is, but I'm still playing four or five nights a week with different bands here in Tulsa.
